Complete Dentures

If you are missing all of your natural teeth, whether from periodontal disease, tooth decay, or injury, complete dentures can replace your lost teeth. Replacing your missing teeth will improve your appearance, restore your chewing abilities, allow you to speak better, improve your overall health, and allow you to smile with confidence. A complete denture will also make you look years younger, as facial muscles and structures sag when you lose teeth.

There are various types of complete dentures, including conventional complete dentures and immediate complete dentures. A conventional complete denture is fabricated after the teeth are extracted and the tissues and bones have had adequate time to heal. An immediate complete denture is inserted at the same appointment when the teeth are extracted. With an immediate denture, the patient does not have to go a period of time without teeth.

Partial Dentures

Removable partial dentures consist of replacement teeth attached to pink or gum-colored plastic bases, which may or not be connected by metal framework (this depends on the type of removable partial denture that is best for your treatment need). See complete dentures link for a list of benefits that may be gained from a denture.
